It's been some time since we updated the DerbyKS.net site. As it is no longer the Prairieland Food, Derby KS site it was decided to make it simply a public service site to make the announcement about Buddy Website Design (in cooperation with BEK, Brown Enterprises of KS) giving away free website builds for non-profits.
It's hard to get this message out sometimes. Most churchs and non-profits don't realize there is an opportunity like this one out there. YES, we give away a website build to non-profits in our area, which is anywhere in Kansas, but also includes the whole USA!
More than anything else, it's hard for non-profits to come up with the budget to advertise on the internet. It's one of the things we do to help with volunteer hours for our participation in the Prairie Land Food Program.
Having a GOOD website means more exposure for your organization, but only if it's done with SEO in mind. SEO is included in the free website build. If you know of an organization that needs a website, that is strapped for funds - send them our way. We could use the volunteer hours, which helps the community, but also helps us help build the Prairie Land Food Program.
